St. Francis' Episcopal Church
About Us
A congregation of the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey and the world-wide Anglican Communion. The Mission of St. Francis' Church is to create, embrace & inspire respect & understanding within our community. "Lord, make me an Instrument of your Peace"
St. Francis' is handicapped accessible with an elevator and a ramp.
As an Oasis Welcoming Congregation, St. Francis invites and welcomes all people as full members of our church family and worship life, particularly those who have experienced exclusion because of their sexual orientation or identity and are seeking a safe and affirming spiritual home.
The roots of the St. Francis parish family stretch back more than a century. The church, named in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, was brought about by the merger of St. Andrew's Church, Plainfield and Holy Innocents Church, Dunellen, on November 9, 1980.

LisaMy family and I have found a wonderful community at St. Francis'. It is a gift to have a group of people who we can share joys and sorrows with, as well as spiritual connection. Our young son loves to come to church where he can be with friends and he is always greeted with smiles.

CatherineSt. Francis' Episcopal Church is by far the most welcoming and truly caring church to which I've belonged. Its members don't just ask "How are you?", but "How are you REALLY?" Fr, Jack Zamboni goes out of his way to respond to the needs of the parishioners, physical and spiritual.
