St. Faith Church

This was a church that I grew up in during my early years. On Sundays my father, mother, brother and myself used to walk from 810 Darby then east on Manoa Rd to Allston Rd. The church grew during the time that I attended services there and was packed with about 200 people every Sunday. Rev. Atkinson's was the minister and I served for a time as an acolyte. The original chapel was for choir and Sunday School, the larger church for services, and the current church was built on the remaining ground where I recall going to Strawberry festivals. I received a silver cross for one perfect year of attendance. My very dear Godmother was Grace Fogel. I was able to return on Sunday in 2003 and intend to again.
