What to Expect

What are services like?
We have Catholic Mass and varous Prayer Services throughout the year. Our Prayer Services are based in "traditional" Catholic formats adjusted to contemporary needs. Annual Prayer Services include: Advent Stations; Chistmas Caroling; Lenten Stations; Holy Week Tenebrae; Transitus of St Clare (July 16); International Day of Prayer for Peace (around Sept 21); Transitus of St Francis (Oct 3); St Jude Novena (Oct 20-28).

What is the community like?
We are Catholic community of 250 families. We are seeking ways of becoming more active within the Catholic Community, the Interfaith Community and the Buffalo area. We are striving to respond to God's call to proclaim the Gospel in our lives adn by our example.

Franciscan Friar, became pastor of St Clare Parish on August 1, 2011. Previous assignments include: Parishes in Harlem, NY; Hartford, CT; Greenville, SC; Columbia, SC; Thomasville, GA, Croghan, NY. Campus Ministry at University of Georgia and Furman University.
