I grew up in this church. I was baptized here and received first communion in 1956. My memories are of statues, beautiful stained glass windows and the smell of candles. The church gave me stability and faith in something good. I’ve been to St.Paul’s Cathedral in London and Notre Dame in Paris, but always think back to my very first church of St. Cecelia’s.
