About Us

Welcoming. Accepting. Nurturing. Serving.

Founded in 1961, we are a suburban Atlanta church serving Marietta, East Cobb and North Fulton areas. We are traditional with a touch of contemporary. Our worship is lead by the 1979 Book of Common Prayer and the 1982 Hymnal with additions from many other places. Our music is lead by a 25+ voice choir and accompanied by organ and piano. Once a month we have a contemporary service lead by our Jubilate Choir (Guitars, keyboard and lots of singers). Our church is a busy place with lots of activities and community outreach. We have an active Youth Ministry and offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for ages 3-12. We'd enjoy the opportunity to get to know you when you visit - no high pressure tactics involved. We're open every Sunday. Free bread and wine. "Wherever you are on your journey with Christ, you are welcome at this table."

What to Expect

What are services like?
Traditional mostly. Book of Common Prayer Rite 2. Music lead by a choir of 25+ and accompanied by organ and piano. On the last Sunday of the month, we have a more contemporary service lead by our Jubilate Choir with Guitars, Piano and sometimes other instruments. We love to sing and we love to worship.

What is the community like?
Many families, some old, some young, lots of youth and children. We are a growing parish. We serve our community by feeding the homeless, building Habitat houses, collect school supplies for those who cannot afford them, pray for the sick and visit the shut-ins.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We all started somewhere ... if you are looking for a place to grow in your faith, you are welcome. No pressure, no requirements. When God calls on you, you will have a place to begin your journey here.
