About Us

A diverse group with a mission to be deeply committed to Christ, His Church, and our Community.

We believe that worship at Spanish Fort UMC is an meaningful experience in a beautiful and welcoming setting. Two distinct Sunday services offer engaging worship in two different styles. Traditional Worship, takes place on Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m. in our sanctuary with choir, organ, and congregational hymns. Led by our praise band, our Contemporary Worship Service meets at 11:00 a.m. offering energetic worship in a more casual environment. You are invited to experience life-changing worship that is completely Christ-centered through any or all of these worship experiences.

As a United Methodist faith community, we welcome all who seek to follow and serve Jesus Christ. We believe that our relationship with God is centered solely on God’s love and grace. This grace is available to all and is at the center of our theology and our faith community. Here you will find opportunities to worship and praise God, serve your neighbors, explore the Christian faith, grow spiritually, fellowship with fellow believers, and meet new friends.

We hope to meet you soon!

What to Expect

What are services like?
Sunday Morning Service – 8:45 AM - In our traditional service, the pastors wear clergy robes, acolytes light the altar candles, and the Sanctuary Choir leads the music. The order of worship includes elements like The Lord’s Prayer and The Apostles Creed, both of which are printed in the bulletin. Sunday Late Morning Service – 11:00 AM - Join in on the experience of worshiping God in our Contemporary Worship service. In our contemporary service you can expect an authentic worship service where people are casually dressed and ready to worship God. We sing contemporary praise and worship music led by a band and both clergy and lay members lead the worship. You are invited to sit or stand, raise your hands or not, clap or not. It really is up to you. The main thing that you can expect is the freedom to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. You will hear a great message that will speak practical Biblical truth into your life and a group of people that will surround you and support you as we travel through this great journey of life together.
