Who We Are

Helping people find their way back to God.

Snoqualmie Valley Alliance is a casual and down-to-earth Pacific Northwest church. We are all about following Jesus, discovering who he is and becoming more like him in community.

What to Expect

What are services like?
On Sunday mornings you can expect us to be wearing jeans and holding a cup of espresso. We'll sing a few songs together and then Pastor Monty, or another pastor, will share a message from the Bible that relates to our daily lives.

What is the community like?
At Snoqualmie Valley Alliance we believe it is through deep connections with others that individuals become more like Jesus and experience robust growth spiritually, emotionally and relationally. One of the best ways to connect at SVA is to join a Journey Group. These are groups of individuals committed to becoming more like Jesus together. They meet at various times during the week in the greater Snoqualmie Valley area.

What if I'm not a Christian?
At Snoqualmie Valley Alliance everyone is welcome. If you're not a Christian, we invite you to check us out. You're welcome to participate in the service or simply observe.

Monty Wright

Monty is the lead and founding pastor of Snoqualmie Valley Alliance. He is married to his wife, Amy, and together they have two kids who are both in college at Seattle Pacific University. But most importantly, Monty finds his anchoring and centering in his relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition to teaching, leadership development, spiritual direction and all that goes with the territory, Monty is most alive when having spiritual conversations with people. He loves to contemplate the reality of God, all while enjoying the expression of God’s agrarian creativity in coffee. He desires to see the church really become the church, and stop playing a religious game. That is why at Snoqualmie Valley Alliance he tries to create an environment where people are able to grow closer to God and each other, uniquely becoming the men and women that God created them to be.
