Slingerlands Community United Methodist Church

I have the United Methodist hymnal which originally came from the Slingerlands UMC Choir. I recently Purchased this Hymnal through Amazon. I am now 88 years old and since an infant been a member of the UMC, I am now a member of the Wesley, United Methodist Church, near Mount Vernon in the state of Virginia. When I purchased this UMC Hymnal I had no idea where it came from to end up as an item on Amazon. I have since looked up the history of the Slingerlands UMC WHICH WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1871 AND RECENTLY CLOSED. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ATTENDED THIS CHURCH DURING THE TIME BEFORE CLOSURE. I can just visualize in my mind sitting in this historic church worshiping and listening to the beautiful CHOIR music. I feel privileged to have this copy of the Slingerlands UMC Hymnal! Jim
