Simple Church Alliance

Who We Are

A network of simple churches committed to the Great Commission

The Simple Church Alliance is not really a church, but a collection of simple churches that meet week to week in homes and parks throughout the region. The Simple Church Alliance seeks to help train and equip people and families to make disciples such that churches naturally and organically emerge. From time to time we also host opportunities for the various simple churches to come together to celebrate what God is doing throughout the network.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Simple Church happens around a table (not pulpit). Simple Church looks like a family (not and institution). Simple church is a discussion (not a monologue). Simple church is relationship driven (not program driven). Simple church is about Jesus being the leader (not a person). Simple church is about being the church (not going to church). Simple church is about participation (not spectating). Simple churches gather in homes, parks, or anywhere else people can meet (every place is a holy place!). Simple Church encourages everyone to be ministers, even children (not just a select few with specialized training). Simple church is not a reaction to traditional churches, but a response to what God is doing throughout the world and right here in our country as well! We are here help encourage and foster simple church multiplication and to help people interested in growing closer to God do so simply and organically.

What is the community like?
Because simple churches are small many grow to become like families. They have people of all ages and all backgrounds and are at various places when it comes to spirituality and faith.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You probably would enjoy simple church because you would really get to know people involved and ask questions. You are welcome!
