What are services like?
Dress is casual. A few dress up! You'll receive a warm welcome and gift for visiting without being pressured or singled out. A typical service will last about 75- 90 minutes. We start by sharing thanks, laughter, testimonies, and prayer requests, then have a season of prayer corporately. We sing a mix of older and newer songs with some occasional special music. The message that follows is about 45 minutes. We then meet for a bring a dish style fellowship meal for those who wish to stay.

What is the community like?
Shelby Center Church is a place where people can engage in life-giving community built upon trust, love, and the pursuit of genuinely knowing and following Jesus. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. We value healthy relationships and caring well for each other by living in unity, fervent charity, and growing in maturity. This makes the gospel visible, accessible., and enjoyable.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Whether you've been thinking about God and the gospel for awhile or early in your discovery, we're here to help. There's something you should know. God is personal, knowable, relational, life-giving and life-changing. He has done something that calls for your response.
