Shady Grove United Methodist Church

My Grandmother Sue Denton Shearin and Grandfather, Roy Lee Shearin lived across the street from this beautiful church. My brother, Roy Mullett Shearin, and I walked to church with "Pop" on Sundays. I was also the flower girl in my Aunt and Uncles wedding when I was young at this church. My mother Frances Glenn Hale Shearin is buried in the cemetary with my Grandparents. My husband and I visit Shady Grove on a regular basis to change my Mothers flowers and to keep all of our family's gravesites looking nice. This church will always be a part of my life and I cherish all the good memories I've had there.
