About Us
Severna Park Baptist Church is a family of faith of all ages on a journey to worship Jesus Christ and grow in our relationships with one another. We are ordinary people who serve an extraordinary God. In fact, we take God's commands seriously to love Jesus and love our world. That means we are becoming active participants in caring for the needs and hurts of our community.
In attending our services you do not need to dress up, come as you are and we believe you will find a genuine sense of friendliness and authenticity of people.
We have been a part of the Severna Park community since 1960. We are also associated with the Arundel Baptist Association, the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware bcmd.org and the Southern Baptist Convention sbc.net.

Leadership
David Brown
Dave Brown is the Lead Pastor at Severna ParkBaptistChurch. He and his wife grew up in Maryland and they have four daughters. Dave has a Bachelor of Arts from CarsonNewmanCollege and a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dave enjoys most all sports and roots for Maryland home-teams but most specifically the Washington Redskins. His life passion though is to grow godly generations by encouraging families to trust and treasure the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Location & Directions
