2000 years ago, Jesus said these words. Then, he embodied them. He was God, yet He lived his short life, not to propel himself to greatness, but to serve others. He gave his life to save ours.

The secret of true living is found in a paradox. If you choose to hold on to the control of your life, to find purpose in yourself and your own interests, your choice guarantees you will lose your life when you die. If you choose to give up control of your life now to God, to find purpose in God and in His interests, your choice guarantees you will keep your life after death.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We have two songs before the sermon (the music style varies from week to week depending on the band playing), a 35-45 minute sermon, then parents are encouraged to get their kids from childcare, and bring them back to the service to participate in weekly communion and more worship music. We mostly go through books of the Bible, not topics. There is oftentimes a question/answer time after the sermon with the pastor.

What is the community like?
Friendly. Mostly young families, but all age groups are represented. We are a culturally diverse congregation, however, from hipsters to professionals to artists to techies. Republicans, democrats, environmentalists, gun owners, etc.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We have several non Christians who come every week. They are comfortable at Seed, and are challenged without feeling judged. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we will always engage you the way Jesus engaged God-seekers.
