Historical Narrative ~
The Sedona Seventh-day Adventist Church was built in the 1960's to serve the people of the community.
They began a Food Program, which has continued to the present, for over 50 years. The Sedona Community Food Bank, who has run the program for much of this time, is relocating in order to expand their mission of service. They have found a new space to call 'Home' here in Sedona and will relocate late in the spring, 2023.
In the late 1990's, the Church also hosted a Spanish speaking group who have met in the lower level of the Church. This group has also grown and is in the process of fulfilling the corporate requirements for having their own, separate organization and name.
The original founders and builders would be so thrilled of this progress of both entities.
Thru its websites and weekly services, it has a local and global impact.
Update: In the summer of 2023, the Sedona Community Food Bank moved to a new location, that they purchased. 30 Inspirational Drive, Sedona, AZ 86336
The Spanish speaking congregation also relocated, to a larger venue, summer of 2023;
51 W Mingus Avenue, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 at the Verde Vallley Christian School.
Than on April 5, 2025, they Dedicated their new Church at 145 Main Street, in Cottonwood, Arizona.
