Saint Rafka Maronite Church

St. Rafka parish is as the name indicates of the Maronite rite of the Catholic Faith. The liturgy is lovely yet simple. If you are familiar with the the Roman Rite you see all the elements of the Mass but in slightly different order or presentation. One of the most beautiful aspects is that the Eucharistic prayer is in Syro-Aramaic which is the actual words spoken at the last Super, not a translation of. The Maronite Faith was isolated & protected in Lebanon of hundreds of years, so the look, sounds and feel of the Rite is Middle Eastern. The Parish is welcoming as is so well done in by Middle Easterners. I am originally Roman Rite (still technically am), and have been attending this parish for the last 10 or so years, so this is the prospective I write from.
