What a great memory.
My Grandma lived on 2nd Street and from her balcony looking out over Beaverdale all the way across to Onalinda...we could see the church and the churchyard....and I heard the bells every single day!
When my grandma was raising her family, including my Mom and aunts...her husband was a coal miner and she cleaned this church to help with necessities for her family! I still remember this beautiful church very fondly
We were all baptized in the Evangelical Church of the United Brethren there in Beaverdale!
