Crenshaw United Methodist Church was established in 1953 and has served as a pillar in the city of Los Angeles since 1903 as West Adams Methodist Episcopal Church. The church has provided spiritual and financial assistance to numerous area residences and their families. We as a church are commited to strengthen the spiritual well-being of our community and act as messengers of peace and love. Our church is located at 3740 Don Felipe Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90008.

What are services like?
SUNDAYS Morning Worship Service 11 a.m. Children's Church: 11 a.m. WEDNESDAYS Bible Study 11 a.m. Word On Wednesday 7p.m. THURSDAYS Choir rehearsal 7-9 p.m.

What is the community like?
The Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw community is a community of Los Angeles. Baldwin Village, Baldwin Vista, The Dons, and Village Greens. As there is more to Baldwin Hills than meets the eye. The same can be said of the multi-racial residents that sit on this hillside neighborhood.

What if I'm not a Christian?
This is a potent question! Here is our answer. Going to church does not save people. You are saved by getting right with God. How can you learn to do right? By attending church! Worship is not about you being judged for what you did or did not do. Our worship is inviting you to discern for yourself where you are on the path toward wholeness with God. We have all started on the path, high and drunk and some sober. Upset with God and our life and others excited about God and our life. It matters not where you are as long as you know where you are on this journey. God loves you and so do we. Come and experience true love through Jesus Christ at Crenshaw UMC!
