Saint Charles Church of God of Prophecy

"Rooted in Truth, Growing in Grace."

About Us

A welcoming family of believers that blends the richness of traditional worship with the fresh expression of contemporary praise. We are a multi-generational, multicultural, congregation, made up of people from all walks of life and other backgrounds—coming together as one in Christ.

Rooted in the message of the Cross and the truth of the Bible, we open our doors to everyone: seniors, youth, families, and individuals who may feel they have nowhere to go. Whether you are new to faith, returning after time away, or simply seeking a place to belong, our church is here for you.

We gather every Sunday for worship services, and host Bible Study on Wednesday evenings and music and prayer nights on Thursdays. Our heart is to grow together in love, faith, and service—and to help each person discover the ministry and purpose that God has called them to.

If you’re hungry for truth, connection, and community, we would love to welcome you into our church family. Come as you are—there’s a place for you here.

What to Expect

What are services like?
At our church, every service is a celebration of God’s presence, love, and truth, where hearts from many cultures worship as one. Our congregation includes multicultural believers—each one welcomed and embraced as part of the body of Christ. We gather as one family in the Spirit, united by the love of Jesus Christ. Our services are marked by: 🙌 Spirit-Led Worship Whether through traditional hymns, contemporary praise, or bilingual songs, our worship is heartfelt, reverent, and joyful. We honor the Lord with music that reflects our diverse voices, blending cultures to exalt one King—Jesus. “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude… from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne… They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches…” — Revelation 7:9 📖 Bible-Centered Teaching Each sermon is grounded in the Word of God—truth spoken in love. Our pastors and teachers seek the Holy Spirit's guidance to preach with clarity, conviction, and compassion, so that everyone is equipped and encouraged for daily life and spiritual growth. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…” — 2 Timothy 3:16 🤝 Fellowship that Reflects Heaven Before and after service, we enjoy meaningful connections—laughing, praying, and growing together. From potlucks to prayer circles, we celebrate our differences as gifts and pursue unity in Christ. “Here there is no Gentile or Jew… but Christ is all, and is in all.” — Colossians 3:11 🙏 Prayer-Filled & Holy Spirit-Aware We are a praying church—interceding for one another and making room for the Holy Spirit to move freely. From altar ministry to quiet times of reflection, we believe God meets us with healing, wisdom, and power. “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” — Matthew 18:20 💖 Family-Friendly & Heart-Connected We cherish our younger generation and honor our elders. We create a safe place for every soul to be known, loved, and discipled. “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” — John 13:35 Come as you are. We are not perfect, but we are passionate about following the One who is. If you're looking for a church that reflects the Kingdom of God on earth—with all peoples, languages, and hearts united in Christ—we invite you to worship with us this Sunday. You belong here. Welcome home.

What is the community like?
Our church community is a family of believers from many nations, united by the love of Jesus Christ. You’ll find people from different backgrounds—worshiping together as one body, with one heart, and one faith. We believe the Church is not just a building—it’s a family. In our community, you'll experience: 💒 A Spirit-Filled, Loving Family We are brothers and sisters in Christ, not just attendees. We rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15). We pray together, worship together, serve together, and grow together. “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27 🌍 A Beautiful Diversity, United in Christ We celebrate our God-given cultural differences as strengths, not barriers. Whether in language, food, music, or testimony—we see the beauty of God’s creation reflected in our unity through the Holy Spirit. “There is neither Jew nor Greek… for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” — Galatians 3:28 🙌 A Place of Acceptance and Transformation No matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, you are welcome here. We believe in the transforming power of God's grace. As He continues to shape each of us, we walk together in truth, mercy, and encouragement. “Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” — Romans 15:7 👐 A Community That Serves Our church family believes in serving one another and our community. From helping with needs inside the church to outreach in our neighborhoods, we live out our faith with open hands and open hearts. “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others…” — 1 Peter 4:10 💬 Real Relationships This is a place where friendships are formed, burdens are shared, and spiritual growth is nurtured. We don’t just shake hands—we open our lives to one another in love. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2 In a world that often feels divided, we are a community marked by the supernatural love and unity of God. When you walk into our church, you won’t find strangers—you’ll find family. We are one body, many parts—loving, growing, worshiping together in Christ. Come be part of it.

What if I'm not a Christian?
"If you’re not a Christian, you are welcome here—this is a safe, loving place to ask questions, experience God’s presence, and discover the hope and truth found in Jesus Christ."

What I love about this church is that they didn’t judge me when I walked in broken—they welcomed me, prayed for me, and walked with me through the mess. Pastor Calvin and the church family showed me the love of Christ in action, and because of that, my life is being healed and restored."
