Round Island Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers that purposes to know God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to equip believers through discipleship. Showing God's love, we strive to reach a hungry world with Jesus Christ through obedience to the Great Commission. We do this by Knowing Him, Growing in Him, Serving Him and Sharing Him.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Come in a suit, come in shorts, you are welcomed just as you are. We sing both traditional hymns and contemporary music; and the sermons are presented in expository form; for this form of preaching involves the exposition, or comprehensive explanation, of the Scripture; that is, expository preaching presents the meaning and intent of a biblical text, providing commentary and examples to make the passage clear and understandable.

What is the community like?
Ranging from young families to older couples, our mission is to build each other up in the Word of God, to reach our local community, state, and the outermost parts of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We participate in mission trips to such states as Kentucky, Vermont, Michigan, Indiana, Alabama and Mississippi and through such countries as Honduras, Guatemala, India, Nicaragua. Through these trips, we have rendered construction support, teaching lessons, food and clothing; all with the love of Jesus. We invite you to get involved, share your time and gifts to reach our nation with the hands and heart of Christ. We also operate a clothes closet in which free clothes and shoes are available to the community in addition to food through our food pantry.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Please come- ALL are welcome and we will welcome you with the love of Christ. Our goal and passion is to be spirit filled followers of Jesus Christ who seek not religion, but a relationship with Him.
