Rotonda West Community Church

The Rotonda West Community Church is a faithful, loving and diverse family style church shepherded by our Pastor, Michael Smith. Holy Communion 3rd Sunday of each month.
We are conveniently located at the heart of the Cape Haze Corridor on the west perimeter of Rotonda West. We serve the Lord for the communities of Rotonda West, Placida, Gulf Cove, Grove City and Englewood, FL. We are also close to the barrier island communities of Boca Grande, Little Gasparilla Island, Don Pedro Island Palm and Knight Island and Manasota Key.
Jesus is the focus of our worship, study, music and mission. Our worship style is traditional and we love to sing the older church hymns and also perform on occasion new songs of worship. We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

PRAYER GROUP
Meets every Tuesday 9:30-10:30am. If you have a prayer request, let us know. We have a prayer line and our prayer warriors meet each week for specific and general prayer requests.

BIBLE STUDY
Meets every Tuesday 10:30-12 noon Oct -May.
MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP GATHERINGS
Last Sunday of each month following church service to share potluck meals and celebration of monthly birthdays and anniversaries.
WOMEN'S GROUP
Meets the first Friday of each month at 10:30am Oct-May. Meetings consist of prayer and devotionals and include presentations from members, local businesses and organizations in addition to fundraising. The group also does community outreach through various projects during the year.
SEWING/QUILTING GROUP
Meets weekly Oct-May at 10am on Fridays at the church. Whether you can sew or quilt or can iron or cut material, all hands are welcome! No experience necessary! We create lap quilts and walker pockets to be donated to local nursing homes or for those with family or friends who could use a nice warm blanket or pocket for their walker.
MEN’S DEVOTIONAL BREAKFAST
The Group meets the first Saturday of each month Oct-May at 8:30am in the fellowship hall with breakfast prepared by a church member. We share fellowship, a spiritual lesson and work on special church projects as needed.
CHOIR GROUP
The music program at RWCC is directed by our talented Music Director Lisa Smithson. She is an accomplished singer, pianist and violinist. She directs the church choir The Joyful Sounds who perform Oct-May. We have a choir that is made up of volunteers. We invite those who like to sing and are willing to practice each week. We perform traditional hymns and new songs of worship.
