What are services like?
Sunday Morning 10 am Service - Combination of Traditional and Contemporary Worship. A blending of Hymns and Contemporary Worship Music with a relevant Bible Message. 1st & 3rd Saturday Night Celebrate & Praise 6 pm Service - Multiple Denominations - Celebrating and Praising God through Music, God's Word and Praying.

What is the community like?
Rockland has a mixture of ages and is a Church Family. The Church Family is small with emphasis of growing. The Services are Bible Centered, have Worship Music and where Prayer and Praises are important. Rockland United Methodist Church is a Community that: Communicates God's Word, Invites Commitment, Cares for others and Celebrates God's love through witness and service.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you are not a Christian come join us and we will tell you what it means to be Christian. You are so important to God and you can have a personal relationship with God. All are welcome to Worship with us.

Bill Faupel

Bill Faupel

Pastor Bill Faupel has been with Rockland since July 2009. He is a part-time Pastor who has a full-time ministry at both Rockland and Wesley Theological Seminary. At Wesley, he is a Director of the Library and a Professor of the History of Christianity. He is an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church of the USA. Prior to joining Wesley Theological Seminary in 2004 he served on the faculty of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore Kentucky for thirty-five years. He specializes in 19th and 20th century church history. His current project is a biography of John Alexander Dowie,founder of the Christian Catholic Apostolic Church of Zion. Education: Central Bible College, A.B. Asbury Theological Seminary, M.Div. University of Kentucky, M.S.L.S. University of Birmingham, England, Ph.D.
