Pastor TJ came to Rock Creek Community church as interim Pastor in January of 2024, and was installed as Pastor in March of that year. He has been a minister since 1986, when he was was appointed pastor of a very small church in Melba, ID. He and his wife, Nancy, arrived in Twin Falls in late 97 and began to serve the Lord across denominational lines and they launched a family music ministry that ran from roughly 1998 through each of his sons’ weddings in 2005. Both sons still minister in music and the Word today. Pastor TJ is an advocate of non-denominational and inter-denominational relationships. He believes that Christians should cross these ‘imaginary lines’ and work together with all believers in one accord, as it says in Acts 2, and that Sunday morning is meant to ‘recharge’ us as we take Jesus into the world where we live. He’s a fan of home groups where the Word of God can be taught in a comfortable, relaxed environment. His heart’s desire is always the goal of training believers in righteousness, that is to teach believers to trust Jesus in the ‘real world’, not just in church on Sundays.
