Riverside Community Church

About Us

Real, Relevant, Relational, Biblical Teaching, Small Groups

At some point, we all try to make sense of our lives. We encounter difficult situations and circumstances. We have bad experiences, or see people we care for experiencing bad things. Life gets tough.

We ask ourselves some very difficult questions

Why am I here?
What’s my purpose in life?
Is there a God who cares for me?

At Riverside Community Church, we believe there are life-changing answers to these questions. We have discovered that the tough questions of life are best answered through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We will help you find the answers to your questions. We are a safe place where you can ask questions, find God-centered solutions, and discover a family of faith who love and support you.

All of us need a place to discover a relationship with God, a place to grow our relationship with God and our relationships with others who are following Him. At Riverside Community Church, we work to create an environment where that can happen. We invite you to join us.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Primarily we teach through books and sections of Scripture in order to understand Scripture historically, culturally, and in context. We seek to encourage and support individuals as God uniquely draws them closer to Christ. We encourage people in their own personal pursuit of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

What is the community like?
We seek to help people build and strengthen relationships. We seek to bring God’s unique healing and reconciliation to broken relationships. Who people are, is more important than what they do: Our focus is on individuals rather than what they might accomplish. Our leadership desires to be led and directed by God. The elders seek God’s leadership through prayer, reflection, listening, and by sharing with each other what God lays upon our hearts. We use unanimity in decision making by the elders.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Everyone is welcome. We encourage non-believers to visit our church. We Don't believe that we are perfect, but we do follow a perfectly merciful God. You will always be welcome, never judged, and free to ask as many questions and you need in your search for the truth.
