Who We Are

We are an intimate non-denominational Evangelical fellowship committed to the doctrines of grace and uniting with other Gospel-centered churches to impact our area and beyond with the life-giving, life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to glorify God by proclaiming Jesus Christ and becoming like Him by the power of His Spirit.

Our Services

What are services like?
River Crossing is a welcoming fellowship that wants to know you better. We take seriously Jesus’ teaching to bear one another's burdens, and to serve Him and each other in love. What will the worship service be like? We hope and pray that it will be a time that the Lord draws us closer to Himself and together through a time of singing and music, prayer, and the reading, proclamation and application of His Word to our lives today. The music and singing is a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs and tunes. The dress is casual (jeans and sneakers are fine) and the service is families worshiping together. Nursery childcare is available for the little folks. The worship time begins at 11:00 am, though many arrive earlier for a time of fellowship before the service. Sunday school begins at 9:45 and is divided into age appropriate groups. This is a time for more in-depth learning and discussion.

What is the community like?
Very friendly and warm.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We want you to know that you are welcome at River Crossing, and we look forward to meeting you, and answering any questions you might have.

John Orlando

I was born in Phoenixville, PA. I served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force. In 1994, By God’s grace I received His free gift of eternal life when the Lord enabled me to trust in Jesus Christ alone for my salvation. My wife, Ursula, and I have one adult son, Michael. I was ordained in a non-denominational church in 1999. I went on to serve the body of Christ as a Ruling Elder in congregations in the Presbyterian Church in America and the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. I’m a fan of the Philadelphia sports teams, love hanging out with my wife, and making (and eating!) homemade spaghetti sauce. Education: – Master of Divinity (Pastoral Ministry), Westminster Theological Seminary, 2011; Bachelor of Science, Religion, Liberty University, 2007; Bachelor of Theology, Christian Life School of Theology(non-accredited), 2003.
