Redemption Hill Church

About Us

Living on Jesus' mission together in our city. Part of Acts 29 Network.

Redemption Hill Church is a community people who have been saved by Jesus and sent into our city to live out Jesus' mission. We come together weekly to worship God as a family and scatter throughout the city in Community Groups during the week.

What does that mean? It means we love Jesus. We also care deeply about the city and its people. We want to love, serve, and challenge those who call DC home with the Gospel.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Each week Redemption Hill Church gathers togther for worship. At these gatherings you can expect times of singing and prayer, preaching from the Bible, and an opportunity to connect with others in community. Come as you are, dressed as you like, and join us on Sunday. Redemption Hill Church currently meets Sundays at 5:00pm at Ebenezer UMC 400 D St. SE Washington, DC 20003

What is the community like?
The Church is not a building. In fact, Redemption Hill Church doesn’t even own a building. The Church is people. While the Church does need to gather for worship, people don’t cease to be the church just because it’s a Tuesday, or because they’re not in the right place. Community Groups give us the opportunity to get together in each others’ homes as the Church Scattered. They are an essential part of our ministry and mission in DC. In Community Groups the people of Redemption Hill Church can build authentic community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Join us! Our church is a safe place for you ask questions and learn about Jesus.
