About Us
Redemption Hill Church is a community people who have been saved by Jesus and sent into our city to live out Jesus' mission. We come together weekly to worship God as a family and scatter throughout the city in Community Groups during the week.
What does that mean? It means we love Jesus. We also care deeply about the city and its people. We want to love, serve, and challenge those who call DC home with the Gospel.

Leadership
Bill Riedel
Listen to Bill’s preaching a few times and you will quickly glean a few insights: the Chicago native is a staunch fan of the Bears and Cubs. He’s so passionate about the Gospel that he followed God’s call across the country to plant a church in Washington, DC. He adores his wife of eleven years, Alissa, and their three young children: Zoe, Liane, and Simon. And, he has an insatiable appetite for studying and sharing biblical theology. Bill earned a BA from Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL in 2002. He went on to a Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, graduating in 2005. The Riedels then spent 4 ½ years serving at Faith Church in Indianapolis before heading east to Capitol Hill. Bill’s a true family man, but don’t let that "coiffed do" fool you. Our lead pastor has a few true rocker roots-he used to be in a band. He may have left behind his long locks when he left Indiana, but his blues harmonica and motorcycle successfully made the move.Location & Directions
