About Us
Real Life Community Church (RLCC) is an ethnically and culturally diverse church off of Route 17 in Stafford Virginia in the England Run neighborhood. RLCC has been on a journey to engage the community using an intentional embracing of cultural diversity known by us as VIBE –

VIBE is in our church's DNA and to journey with us is a challenge to believers to aggressively demonstrate the love of God across all lines of societal division.
We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and see Christ's sacrifice on the cross and subsequent resurrection as the only hope of salvation and glory. We believe in progressive sanctification as the means by which our lives are brought into conformity with the image of Christ and we believe the Church is the expression of God’s presence and love in the world today and, as such, we have the responsibility to: spread the Gospel; minister to the needs of the homeless, sick, imprisoned, orphaned, widowed, and those generally under-served; disciple and equip the believer; and prepare for Christ’s eventual return.

- Founded in 2006 as a church plant through the Fredericksburg Area Baptist Network, RLCC began meeting at the Network office before meeting every Sunday at Gayle Middle School in Stafford, VA. In 2014 we moved to a leased location in the England Run neighborhood, that allowed us to have 24/7 roots and serve the community in greater ways. In 2019 we moved from renters to owners, further cementing our commitment to the souls of South Stafford and the greater Fredericksburg region. RLCC has assisted over half a dozen other ministries through our facilities, maintained a food bank, ordained ministers, taught children, and led prayer that changes things in powerful ways.

BruceReal Life is a true community. We understand that life can be hard. But there is hope - and hope has a name - it's Jesus Christ. We are a community, made up of diverse cultures, backgrounds, experiences, up-bringing's, hurts, failures, successes, perceptions, and needs. At our core, what unites us is what The Lord Himself said wraps up the law - that we love the Lord our God and love our neighbor. We strive to do both every day, 24/7/365. All backgrounds, colors, creeds, faiths, and situations are welcome here and all contribute to the family. Married, single, divorced, single parent, kids, teens, grandparent, great grandparent... Strong in the faith, different faith, no faith, seeking faith... all are welcome. This family is here to help each other grow in knowledge and faith in our Lord Christ, Jesus. Our Senior Pastor pours his heart into this family. He Leans on his life experiences, Marine Corps leadership, corporate leadership, raising a family to adulthood and over 30 years of front-line ministry dedication to bring the whole Gospel to life in our community. We are healing hearts, seeking the lost, delivering hope, feeding the hungry, teaching minds, building disciples, and creating abundant, grade-filled lives. We are better together.

Our family is united by faith and the understanding that each of us is made in God's image but with unique abilities, gifts, and callings. Everyone really is welcome and loved.
