Primera Iglesia Bautista is The Root of all Hispanic Baptist Work in the United States. Founded in 1883 and has contionuously been in existence at the same corner since 1900 on San Bernardo Ave. and Coke St., in downtown Laredo exactly one block West of I-35.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are bilingual, a combination of contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns. Multi-generational with a spirit of expectancy of the moving of the Holy Spirit in every service. The preaching is biblcally based, and to the point, and easy for all ages to understand the message and its application to our daily lives.

What is the community like?
Church community is very friendly, welcoming and accepting of all ages, races and backgrounds. Afterall the church is a place for those who need healing not for those who have it "all together."

What if I'm not a Christian?
Doesn't matter if you are not a Christian, we will still welcome you and show you in tangible ways the love of Christr and what He has done in our lives and the reason we have Hope, and a reason to praise His glorious name.
