What are services like?
Upbeat and celebrational, Traditional and contemporary reformed litury, Preaching and worship style from the African American Prophetic Tradition. Presence of African symbols and cultural practices. Call-response and human touch are important features of the worship experience. Services designed to engage both the head and heart of worshippers.

What is the community like?
99% African American. Mostly seniors with a small but growing number of young adults. Many retired college aducated professionals. Warm and welcoming vibe. In conversaton about and growing in acceptance of LGBT members of our community. Engaged in community service through food and health programs. Undergirded and empowered by a powerful prayer ministry.
