Eugene Piacentini

Pastors Eugene and Odette Piacentini are Brazilian missionaries working among the community of Portuguese immigrants in California in the San Joaquin Valley. Pr. Eugene Piacentini is a descendant of Portuguese immigrants and Italians who immigrated to Brazil at the beginning of the twentieth century. And he immigrated to the United States in 1990 with his wife (Odette) and his 4 year old daughter (Priscilla). In 1994 their second daughter (Deborah) was born in San Jose, CA. Pastor Eugene Piacentini graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity and has been teaching Professor of Theology since 1985. Studying and teaching the word of God is his passion and vocation. He still intends to continue his studies and completed a Ph.D. in New Testament. His conversion took place by reading the New Testament. Pastor Odete Piacentini was a missionary in Bolivia for two years before marrying. Missionary work and work among poor children is part of her vocation and calling. She was in India in 2005 and has challenged the church to help and support poor children in India. She still wants to go to Africa to do missionary work.
