Poplar United Methodist Church

I am a very old time member of the cross roads church, trying to find other very old timers, like the Weavers, Haskell and Billie Oliver, their daughters, Daisy Mae Hudson, Moira Taggert, a close lady friend of Daisy and Moira who was the secretary for the Grange agricultural organization, and friends from Tulare like nurses Lori Oldfield and Jana Matthias, niece of former Rep. and Decathlete, Bob Matthias. I want former members who have felt exiled to the Assembly of God church to feel welcomed back. Two of the ladies met Giles Dyer and Ronald Reagan at a rodeo style parade in Porterville, and later met with Giles, Ron, and Nancy Reagan. I would especially like to hear from their meeting with our future Pres., and about whether they and Giles met with him in the White House and/or in Sacramento. I think Billie Oliver might be related to Billie Oliver? Blythe, later known as Pres. Clinton. It could be interesting to have a Californian, like Giles, or even a politician, like Gavin Newsome, fighting for California from Camp David, or the White House, or Sacramento, or, wherever. It would be a shame if we can`t put the interests of our country ahead of bi-partisan bickering politics. Sadly, the older country women couldn`t even met with Giles in BakersField, much less NYC or Washington, DC.
