Visit us on Sundays for an informal service at 8 am, or a traditional liturgical service at 10:30 am. Child care is available during both services. Sunday school for pre-K through 6th grade is from 9 until 10:15 am. Confirmation classes and post-confirmation student discussions are held at the same time. Adult education discussions are from 9 until 10 am on Sundays.

Leadership

Sarah Scherschligt
Born and raised in a suburb of Minneapolis, MN, Pastor Sarah went to Valparaiso University with majors in Biology and International Service. She served in the Peace Corps in Malawi and has also worked for the Center for Global Education at Augsburg College in both Minneapolis and Namibia. After receiving her Masters of Divinity from Yale University with additional studies at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, she was a vicar at Luther Place Memorial Church in Washington DC. She was ordained in 2007 and served as the Associate Pastor at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Gaithersburg MD where she focused on youth and family ministry, faith formation, social outreach and community building. Pastor Sarah has served on the board of Mar-Lu-Ridge, a year-round outdoor ministry of the ELCA in the Catoctin mountains of central Maryland, on the Stewardship mission table, and as the founder and leader of the Creation Care Team. Pr. Sarah was installed as the pastor of Peace on October 21, 2012.Location & Directions
