What to Expect

What are services like?
Our Saviour's Lutheran Church offers both Traditional and Contemporary Worship Services every Sunday. Two Traditional Worship Services are offered on Sundays at 9:00 and 10:30 am. One Contemporary Worship Service is offered at 10:30 am on Sunday, down the hall from the Traditional Service. Some worshipers choose to attend only one type of service, according to their preference. Some worshipers go back and forth from Traditional to Contemporary from week to week. Everyone is free to choose how and where they wish to worship! We also offer one other Traditional Worship Service at 5:00 pm on Saturday. A nursery is provided for little ones at 9:00 and 10:30 am on Sundays.

What is the community like?
Our Saviour's Lutheran Church is committed to meaningful ministries. We have strong Children's Ministry programs, a lively Youth Ministry (which includes a Middle School Confirmation Program) and High School activities. We are committed to Making Christ Known in our community, in the Chicagoland area, nationally and internationally. We are called to "Live Beyond Our Walls" through our Social Ministry, Global Missions, Caring Ministries, various Music Ministries, Adult Education classes, and our Green Team... all of these activities are woven into the fabric of our lives together as a powerful and active community of faith.

All persons are welcome to join us, wherever they may be on their faith journey. Our Saviour's Lutheran Church is a welcoming community.
