Our Lady of Wisdom University Parish

Who We Are

Evangelical Catholic

Our Lady of Wisdom University Parish is dedicated to the spiritual, religious, moral, intellectual, and social development of all who participate. We are a Catholic Parish community, composed of, but not limited to, students, faculty, staff, and alumni. As Christians living the life of Christ and spreading the Gospel, we are called to serve others. We seek in our worship to better our understanding of Christ and His mission for us; we pray for wisdom and support one another in this quest.

Nine missionaries, 4 with FOCUS and 5 with Saint Paul's Outreach, help our students learn and live the way of Jesus through weekly small groups, discipleship, and simply living life together on mission.

Each semester students lead Bobcat Awakening, an intense, fun, prayerful weekend for about 60 of their peers. Students grow together in our Catholic Fraternity and Sorority, LOA and MEO as well as through Catholic Students Organization. They serve others through Bobcats 4 Life, the Texas State pro-life organization, and LIGHT, a confirmation retreat team.
