Who We Are

Church attendance in Marin County is about 6 per cent across all denominations (5 per cent here in Mill Valley). We try to be a beacon of faith and hope in our context, reaching out to help where we can (St. Vincent de Paul Society, Peace and Justice, Southern Marin Deanery Association), supporting CYO basketball and volleyball (serving over 400 children), providing faith formation for all ages, and steadily inviting others to join us in prayer. We struggle to be true to the teachings of Roman Catholicism in the best possible sense, trying to fulfill our baptismal call to be Good News to all.

Our Services

What are services like?
Our worship is centered in the moment, where God is most likely to find us, and we are most likely to find God. We still maintain some of the reserve common to Roman Catholicism, but we are growing. Homilies are grounded in the Word of God proclaimed each week, helping the community hear their relevance to the issues they face daily. We do our best to make room for the spectrum of ages that attend, celebrating baptisms at Sunday Mass, where the community has an opportunity to exercise their role in the life of the families.

What is the community like?
The community is warm and welcoming. We are large compared to other Christian communities in Mill Valley, but relatively small by usual standards, with around 400 to 500 participating weekly.

What if I'm not a Christian?
All are welcome and join us in prayer, although we do not practice inter-communion, prayer unites us all..
