Old Well Christian Church

I was born in Martinsville General Hospital on November 21, 1946. My grandmother Rosanna Stephens Holder, lived in Spencer with her son - my father - Troy Lee Holder and my mother, Ruth Reedy Holder. I spent my first five years in this church and still remember Reverend Worley. When I was 5 years old, my father was transferred to Pennsylvania and we moved. However for the next 11 years, I spent the entire summer with my grandmother. After we moved, my aunt - Romain Holder Brown and uncle, John Alvis Brown moved in with grandmother. My uncle was a Sunday School teacher for many years and I loved studying the Bible with him. He was also the Martinsville Post Master after he retired from the Navy. Everyone is buried in Martinsville. I remember vacation Bible School and the Revivals. I was hoping to see a picture of your church and I'm sure it's changed a bit since I've been to Spencer, but I have many happy memories there.
