Old Stone Church
About Us
We are an American Baptist Church and we emphasize that relationship at the local, regional, national, and international levels. We believe the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. We believe Jesus is God’s Son who gives grace and forgiveness of all sin to those who believe in Him. We believe in the Holy Spirit and that He imparts spiritual gifts to all Christians for use in the ministry and mission of the Church. We believe every Christian has direct access to God and therefore, communicates with God, interprets God’s Word, and ministers in Jesus’ name. We believe in two ordinances: The Lord’s Supper and baptism by immersion. We believe in the autonomy of the local church.
Guided by our beliefs, we seek to develop as Christians by gathering for weekly worship, encouraging the study of God’s Word through small group gatherings, developing greater unity among our members and friends through fellowship activities, ministering to one another during times of need, and by helping our local community through mission projects.
