Jason Ferris
Jason Ferris was installed as the eighteenth pastor of Old Pine Street Presbyterian Church in 2011. Raised in rural Mississippi, Jason lived for many years in New York City, where he developed a passion for urban life, culture, and ministry. In preaching, Jason enjoys connecting our rich scriptural tradition to the real concerns of everyday life. In his pastoral leadership, he seeks to foster a community in which all people find ways to contribute their time, talents, and energies to the work of God. Jason’s background includes international work, documentary filmmaking, and counseling. He is a graduate of Davidson College (BA, English), Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York (M.Div.), and Tulane University (MSW). Jason’s wife Rebecca is a documentary filmmaker and they are the proud parents of two young sons.Location & Directions
