Shawn Emerson

I am a Bi-vocational pastor working full time beside pasturing the church here in Norway. I was ordained in 2010 after completing the educational requirements in the Church of the Nazarene. I first came to Norway as the associate pastor working with the youth in 2004. In 2007 I was appointed the senior pastor and have been here ever since. Karen an I have two children with our youngest in Hs about to graduate. I accepted Christ when I was a you g boy of 9 at a children’s camp and have never looked back. God first called me to the ministry when I was in 8th grade. I didn’t go directly into the ministry until I was 33 and finally surrendered all to God and had my Isaiah chapter 6 moment “here I am Lord send me” we all have to have that moment where we finally stop fighting what God is doing in our lives and allow him to have full control over our lives.
