What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are a place where everyone feels welcome the gospel is preached and the Holy Spirit felt. Everyone is welcomed with a smile and we worship our Lord in song using contemporary music followed by a greeting time where everyone gets to know each other. The word of God is brought to us through Pastor Shawn with messages that last from 20-40 min as directed by the Holy Spirit.

What is the community like?
Our church community is very loving and accepting of all people coming into our church seeking the Lord. We have meals from time to time having wonderful fellowship with each other and friends and neighbors from our communities.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We encourage all to come to our humble church to find God. The non believer will feel very welcome in our church. Change comes through the Holy spirit as an individual surrenders their life over to God. Please come and visit us any time.

Shawn Emerson

I am a Bi-vocational pastor working full time beside pasturing the church here in Norway. I was ordained in 2010 after completing the educational requirements in the Church of the Nazarene. I first came to Norway as the associate pastor working with the youth in 2004. In 2007 I was appointed the senior pastor and have been here ever since. Karen an I have two children with our youngest in Hs about to graduate. I accepted Christ when I was a you g boy of 9 at a children’s camp and have never looked back. God first called me to the ministry when I was in 8th grade. I didn’t go directly into the ministry until I was 33 and finally surrendered all to God and had my Isaiah chapter 6 moment “here I am Lord send me” we all have to have that moment where we finally stop fighting what God is doing in our lives and allow him to have full control over our lives.
