Josh received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in broadcast journalism from the University of South Alabama in 2010, where he also minored in classic English literature. He spent a year at Valdosta State University in Georgia studying international media and public relations and is a feature journalist for Mobile Bay magazine, the leading local lifestyle magazine for the Alabama Gulf Coast. At Northside, Josh is responsible for designing and managing our website, social media, blogs and podcast. He also serves as lead acoustic rhythym guitarist for our worship band.
A retired Chickasaw, Alabama police officer and U.S. Army veteran, Robert Davidson has been a dedicated member of Northside since its early “tent days.”
Brandon has been a part of Northside since his high school days and grew up as a part of the youth ministry under the leadership of former Student Pastor Edwin Attaway. Brandon often describes himself as a "prodigal" who has been blessed beyond measure to lead and teach our middle and high school students on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. He also doubles as the lead vocalist for our worship team. Brandon is married to Lindsey Jean Ezell and together they have two children: Grayson and Blakeley.
Cody serves as an assistant youth pastor and leader for Northside's Ignition Student Ministry under the leadership of Student Pastor Brandon Ezell and also doubles as bass guitar player on Sunday mornings for the worship band. He often describes himself as a "Godservant" and is passionate about biblical theology and apologetics. Cody is married to Emily Walker and together they have a daughter: Salem Walker.
Brother Al has a strong gift of financial administration and serves as treasurer of our official board. He is also a longtime Sunday School teacher of the senior’s class. Al works as an accountant in the Mobile County public school system administrative offices. His spiritual and financial gifts are a great strength and serve as a strong foundation for our ministry.
A successful independent businessman and family man, Larry Ezell brings local community knowledge and strong family values to our Shepherd’s Staff. His son Brandon serves as our student pastor and Larry's wife Mary serves faithfully in Northside women's ministry and children's ministry.
Pastor Stan attended Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama, where he met his wife Annette and graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Theology. He served in pastoral roles for several years in Birmingham before taking the position of senior pastor at Northside in 2000. A native of Mobile, Stan attended Northside as a child under the teachings of founding Pastor David Jones for many years. He is married to Annette Hathaway Givens and together they have three children: Joshua, Caleb and Mary, all of who play active roles in Northside’s worship, children’s and media ministries. Pastor Stan is a board member of East European Harvest and an active supporting member of Team Jesus Ministries.
