What are services like?
Informal yet serious. Upbeat music yet time for reflection. Thoughtful reflections based on latest scholarship yet down-to-earth and practical.

What is the community like?
At heart we are a friendly, passionate group, determined to make a difference in one of the most conservative counties in Ohio. Young parents like to raise their kids in this kind of progressive environment. Students like to have a place where their questions are taken seriously. Single people like to be part of an active congregation. Couples (gay and straight) grow closer.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome people of all backgrounds and traditions. Together, we listen to each other and learn from each other. We are most definitely a Christian church. Yet we understand what it means to be Christian in many different, exciting ways.

Leadership

Mike Underhill

Pastor Mike was called to Nexus Church on September 21, 2008. He grew up in and around Memphis, TN and is a May 2008 graduate of Chicago Theological Seminary. Prior to entering ordained ministry, Pastor Mike had extensive corporate leadership in diversity and inclusion, human resources, and information technology. He and his spouse Vince Benabese live in West Chester, Ohio. Their adult daughter lives in Chicago.
