NewBranch Community Church

Who We Are

We are Gospel-centered
This means that we believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the most important message we can deliver because it contains our only hope for salvation and our only hope for living faithfully for Christ.

We are Grace-filled
Having been blessed with undeserved favor from God in Christ, we welcome anyone from any background...no matter how far you've walked away from God. He is able to bring you back to Himself.

We are Mission-focused
Jesus gave us a clear command before He left Earth..."to make disciples of all nations". We believe we are a "sent people", and thus seek to live with a missionary mindset where we are.

We are Bible-saturated
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, without error. We hold to its literal interpretation, its authority in our lives, and its sufficiency for salvation and godliness. As such the Bible is foundational to everything we do, and we encourage a steady and healthy diet of Bible intake.

Ken Rucker

Ken and his wife Susan were married in November of 1989. They have four awesome boys: Awbrey (17), Andrew (15), and twins David and Jonathan (11). After many years in business, Ken sensed God's leading into vocational ministry in 2000. He has served in a number of pastoral roles in the past 12 years, but considers NewBranch Community Church to be what God had planned for him all along. He is a Georgia Tech graduate, and is working on his Masters of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. His passions are preaching expository sermons and discipling men. In his "free time", he enjoys hanging with his family, reading books, and playing almost any sport or outdoor activity. Susan stays busy homeschooling the boys, teaching women's Bible studies, and keeping the family scrapbooks updated with all those family memories.
