Personally I would not go here. Pastor frequently says that christianity "is not about religion; it's about a relationship with God," then asserts that if you are not an Apostolic Pentecostal, you are going to eternal Hell, which just isn't reasonable to me. AoG is a really similar sect/denomination. A church member was told not to go to an AoG bible college simply becauseu AoG believes in the Trinity. If you are not familiar with Pentecostal churches, their rules for women ae very restrictive. Women and girls must never cut their hair, ever again, and must wear "modest" clothing which means skirts and dresses- no pants or shorts- and you better cover your shoulders. You will be made to feel like you're not doing good enough if you wear pants in the comfort of your home. Church services can get loud so this is not a good environment for people who like quiet. Pastor says 'if you don't like loud noises, you won't like Heaven.' When people leave they are labeled a 'backslider' and will be prayed about by church members who belive they will be doomed to Hell if they do not come back to the church. Sometimes their names will be directly mentioned in a church service as the congegration will pray for them. Also it is referred to as "the Church", as they believe it is the only correct one. Personally, I would not agree, given the anguish I've felt struggling to follow their rules that they claim are biblical, thinking I was a bad Christian if I didn't wear a skirt. God Bless you, please stay safe!Personally I would not go here.
