What are services like?
Our service includes welcome, music provided by our worship team, special music provided by our choir, scripture, sermon, prayers. Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month.

What is the community like?
We have a wide variety of people who attend. Children are welcome to stay in the worship service or go to Children's Church. We also have a weekday preschool for 18 mos - VPK.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We invite you to join us - ask questions & get a feel for our church community. There are no wrong questions when you are searching.

Jacqui Jones
Senior Pastor

On July 1, 2022 the Rev. Jacqui Jones became Senior Pastor of New Horizon UMC. Pastor Jacqui came to New Horizon from her home country of South Africa where she has served in ordained ministry for over two decades. For 18 years Jacqui has pastored a congregation she founded, Gracepoint Church, in Johannesburg. Currently she is serving both the church and acting as Superintendent Minister of the Fourways Circuit (similar to a DS). She is experienced in planting a new church and building a church building and is now transitioning that church to new leadership while she makes a big life transition of her own to the U.S.
