Our mission statement: "We aim to win the lost to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior, and to help them become all they can be in Him."
At New Hope we are actively involved in the Hickory community. We also are very involved in missions. We feel that as the church we are called to help all that need help, no matter what economic status, race, or religion that they may be a part of. Jesus Christ has called all Christians to be his disciples and that is what we are trying to be within this community and around the world.

I have been blessed to serve as Pastor of New Hope since July 2014. As a leader, I look to Jesus and try my best to imitate His style of servant leadership. My family is my greatest blessing in life. I married the former Claudia Rollins in June, 1977, We are blessed by our children Laura and her husband Justin Garland and son John, along with grandsons Jordan and Tyler.
