James Dinnan
Hi, I am Pastor Jim, currently I am the lead (only) pastor at New Day. I am also one of the three elders at New Day. I have been married to Cheryl for over 7 years now and we have two active and maturing sons one who is in high school and one who is in middle school. Cheryl is the K-2 Dean at Taylor Exemplar Academy and she is also the one who keeps me grounded yet compassionate. I was studying toward my MDiv at Heritage Seminary when the church started in 2008 and God showed me that my goal of teaching college needed to take a back seat to shepherding a flock. I completed the MDiv and I also hold a BA Christian Thought from William Tyndale College and an MBA Global Management from The University of Phoenix. I am in the Doctor of Ministry program at Ashland Theological Seminary. As of fall 2011 I am professor of Bible and Theology at Manthano Christian College in Westland MI. Most of all I am a sinner saved by Christ's payment on the cross and no one can separate me from His love. I like sports, music and computer geeky stuff but I love teaching God's Word and seeing lives changed by the love of Jesus through the Holy Spirit.Location & Directions
