What are services like?
We focus on practical teaching of scripture through Bible based sermon series. Our atmosphere is casual and relational as we want you to connect to others and develop meaningful friendships.

What is the community like?
Our church is younger but becoming more diverse in its age groups. We love to gather - especially when their is food or coffee! Most of all our community is warm and inviting as we know that people need relationships in their spiritual journey.

What if I'm not a Christian?
One of our values is process. We believe everyone is at a different place in their spiritual journey and we want to meet you where you are. Our main concern is that you are growing in your relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Leadership

Jay Newland

Pastor Jay grew up in Kansas and gave his life to Christ in April of 1997. He attended Missouri State University where he was involved in Chi Alpha Christian fellowship and received his Bachelors in Religious Studies. He met his wife Candace in church at Central Assembly of God in Springfield where she was attending Evangel University. After 3 years in youth ministry they felt called to Omaha to plant a church. So after much prayer and planning, they moved to Omaha in 2004 and with a small group of dedicated leaders, started New Creation in their home. They have two children, Jackson and Haven and they love to watch Jayhawk Basketball and Husker football. Most of all, they love serving the Omaha community and New Creation Church!
