What to Expect

What are services like?
Services begin with Praise and Worship; followed by the Pastor teaching the Word. Total time of service is generally 2 hours.

What is the community like?
The church community is small with steady growth. We are developing ministries to assist families in the congregation and the local community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
The church's belief's: John 3: 16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And Romans 10: 9-10 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

Leadership

Kenneth L. Battle

In 1993, Pastor Battle became founder and Pastor of New Covenant Community Church. With a handful of dedicated members, he formed the church where it is today. The church has undergone many challenges and changes, but Pastor Battle held his course, and kept the faith, stating, “It wasn’t always easy, but faithfulness brings fulfillment”. He credits his supporting cast – The Holy Spirit, his family, members of NCCC and pastors throughout the region in which he fellowships with, as they have encouraged and provided strength. Pastor Battle is in covenant relationship with World Council of Fellowship Churches under the direction of Apostle Willie Taylor, his Pastor. “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62 Pastor Battle has a deep and sincere desire to see the people of God prosper in every area of life no matter what, because in his words, “The best is yet to come concerning you”
