New City Church

About Us

Celebrating Christ, Serving Cincinnati

New City is a new church based in Oakley (a neighborhood northeast of downtown Cincinnati). We're excited to tell you the story of what God has done, is doing, and we hope will do with our church. For more info check out our website (newcitycincy.org), but the best way to experience New City is to join us for worship on a Sunday. New City is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

We worship at 10am on Sundays at 5051 Anderson Place, Cincinnati, OH 45227

New City exists to enjoy and proclaim the glory of God, and to make the kingdom of God visible by declaring and demonstrating the gospel - both to ourselves and to our community where we live, work, and play.
In short, we want to celebrate Christ and serve our neighbors.

We do this by connecting people to God, to a community, and to a mission.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our worship service is simple, focused on Christ, and meant to be accessible to you whether you've been in church your whole life, or whether you've never been to church at all. We regularly explain the elements of our service and you are free to participate as you feel comfortable. Each worship service has a mix of historical and contemporary elements, hopefully pulling the best from the old and the new. Typical elements in our worship include singing, prayer, and a sermon. We celebrate the Lord's Supper on a monthly basis. Our service normally lasts until about 11:20am.

What is the community like?
Lots of young adults and young families with a smattering of other age groups as well.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Please come and join us; we're here for you. We'll help you get a handle on what's going to happen in the worship gathering. And it's a school cafetorium. So if you've ever eaten lunch at school you'll feel right at home. Without the cardboard-esque pizza. Not very intimidating.
