What to Expect

What are services like?
Services at Nazarene start at 11am with singing, prayer, and worship. A sermon is given, and there will be an offering and a time of being invited up front for prayer or to become a new member of the church. The youth dance team, Messiah's Children, preforms at least monthly. The gospel choir inspires praise. The sermon will inspire, and often point to social justice.

What is the community like?
Nazarene Congregational UCC is welcoming to everyone.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Nazarene welcomes everyone from any walk of life, any background. The church is warm and friendly full of hand shakes and hugs all around.

The church members that were there were very welcoming and especially the Pastor who introduced herself personally to me I was there on Memorial Day weekend from Boston and enjoyed the service very much and felt it spoke to me. That was the reason I went for the message and to worship which I enjoyed very much. The holy spirit was coming through when the choir was worshipping and I felt vey comfortable to sing along and move around some when it was appropriate. I was blessed to find them and definitely would go back.
